Envelope Art

I saw this on the Guardian website and I fell in love with the illustrations- I shall attempt to do envelope art the next time I send snail mail). So this guy, Klaus Flugge, is a children's publisher (sigh the DREAM!) andhe received almost 100 beautifully illustrated envelopes by artists including Tony Ross (he drew the Little Princess) and Axel Scheffler (the guy who illustrated the Gruffalo!). So so beautiful! I wish I could draw and paint like them (Kelly! I can imagine you doing this! Maybe you could do these small pieces of art this summer).
