Letters of Note

There's quite a lot of things I've been meaning to blog about lately, but no time, and this afternoon I'm off to Malibu for a weekend retreat with my organization - we've booked a 20-acre ex-rehab center called Stone Eagle Retreat (check those pictures out! There's a waterfall?!).
In the meantime keep yourselves occupied with this fascinating blog. I hate myself for not discovering it earlier. It is full of humor, drama, ego and heartwarming romance courtesy of such luminary letter-writers as Thom Yorke, David Bowie, Quentin Tarantino, John Lennon... that's barely scraping the surface. I have picked up many new ways to write a letter and hopefully you all will be the beneficiaries of that someday soon.
Anyway, I leave you with two good and brief ones: the first from comedian George Carlin to his wife Sally Wade, and the second from hilariously sarcastic Steve Martin. I have more favorites but they're either quite lengthy or require context so please knock yourself out at the blog itself.
