i walk around with the Little Britain narrator in my head all day - its a bit distracting. Anyway, the best part about London, in my opinion, is the buildings. all the buildings here are just so beautiful and so quintessentially English. i love it.
yesterday i went to my college to walk around. school is centered around a main street, Houghton Street. i stood in front of the Old Academic Building (because yes, there is a New Academic Building as well) and tried to imagine myself coming to school for the next three years. i still can't really wrap my head around the fact that i'm actually here though, and i guess i can't yet picture myself being a student here.
visited the Topshop of legends today, the 4 storied one on Oxford Street. i noticed several key similarities and differences between Topshop UK and Topshop Singapore.
differences:
1. its cheaper
2. its bigger
similarities:
1. the sequins, studs and horrendous blobs of neon colours are still there
so basically, more range of fugly at cheaper prices. but Topshop UK carries loads of different brands, and i was able to sift though the dangerous fugly, and find an awesome-sauce pair of boots.
btw, i caught a cold ):
the same topshop i spent an hour looking for you people in?
