Rushing for time, point form.
1. Today was the last day of school, how scary is that. If time really passes this fast maybe SMU will be okay afterall. 1/10th of my education here completed.
2. That being said, twelve weeks into law school and I don't feel any more closer to really understanding what I set out to understand. Went to the Supreme Courts for a tour today and I don't see how I will some day supposedly have enough knowledge and intellectual capacity to be walking in here fighting a case.
3. I'm having my first gig in SMU tomorrow. It's a tiny thing, and I'm only doing a few songs. One of them is Gary Jules' Mad World. During practice today the lyrics really hit me. That's what we're all gonna become one day, right? I don't want to. And in many ways I think the song really epitomises school here. Nyeargh.
4. Finals in a week and a half and I feel very very very scared ):
5. (What cheered me up thought was that I RAN TO SISTIC AFTER CLASS TODAY AND BOUGHT MY CAT POWER TICKETS.)

ReplyDeleteOh gee I watched Donnie Darko recently and that rabbit FREAKED ME OUT bad. I really don't like Jake in that movie, or the entire movie really. Haha damn JOHN MAYER AND RAY LAMONTAGNE.
