Placebo was amazing, amzing, amazing. Absolutely feel-good. Brian Molko serenaded this crowd of thousands of Placebo fans (pity the O2 arena wasn't full) and I officially see Placebo as a very romantic and heart-felt band; gone is their angsty-emo-for-adults image I've always had. The best parts of the night: 1) in between the opening acts and their arrival, they screened Shorts TV movies as part of 'The Placebo Film Festival' where they were trying to raise awareness and campaign against human trafficking (Ahhh Placebo has earned a badge for being do-gooders), 2) the acoustic introduction of Meds- amazing amazing amazing, 3) When Brian Molko sang 'We can build a new tomorrow, today' (from 'Speak in Tongues') we completely believed him and 4) basically the song-line up was perfect. Placebo, you guys were awesome.
sighhhhhhh
