Solvang and Hearst Castle

Only in California is such a random collection of photos possible to acquire in two days. Faux-Danish towns (where I totally won the equivalent of a gastronomical Amazing Race - 39 restaurants in 5 hours, and still time to try on a whole store's worth of clothes and fight this big scary woman over a dress), insanely extravagant castles overlooking the ocean built by newspaper tycoons, endless vineyards whose produce I, being under 21, was not allowed to taste. Instead us young'uns strolled the fields picking bunches of wildflowers. Pretty interesting weekend. Now to continue with the film festival.
