Wednesday Website Write-Up

Ah, Wednesday. Mid-week slump. Don't want to study for Italian. Don't want to read Shakespeare's Henry IV. So I've decided to do a little sharing session. Every week I'll post about a site that I really like and visit probably more than I should. (And you guys can too, if you want.) These are my favorite places in the virtual world and where I get a lot of my knowledge and references and ideas so a part of me feels like I'm giving something away by doing this... but the internet is so big and vast and we might as well try to make it a little smaller. Anyway here goes, number one:

Oh Joy!

I loveeee Oh Joy and have been following it for years. It's always incredibly full of light and color and flowers and good old-fashioned girly prettiness. She posts about fashion and design and art and... bicycles... and all that jazz, always with a liberal dose of cheerfulness and impeccable taste. Impeccable! I swear. Every day there's something new and smile-inducing - how does she keep it up? If I could be a blog, I would be this blog: precious but in a good way (ie. not in Jireh's way).







Also she has a food blog that I only recently discovered called Oh Joy Eats and it's just as happy and whimsically understated (is that an oxymoron, I don't know) as the original, but dedicated entirely to food! Love it. Especially since she lives in California so I actually have access to these places.
