WWW: 20Q

Last week I skipped on Wednesday Website Write-Up because it suddenly dawned on me that I'd already shared almost all of my favourite sites with everyone. Because I have such a big mouth. Smitten Kitchen and This is Why You're Fat, check... The Book Cover Archive, check. Once Wed, check. Blah blah blah. But I have one for this week: 20q!



It's your favourite bored-in-the-car game, now electronic! Brooke is the one who introduced it to me and we wasted a good part of Saturday playing it. Everytime they miraculously guessed something right on the first try I said, in an awed hush, how did they know??? And she shouted There's a little Indian man inside the computer listening to us! I'm not even sure what that means but now I think that everytime they win a game, like good job Indian man! The nice thing is they have Classic 20q, which is the old Animal-Vegetable-Mineral shtick, or more specific 20qs (as you can see, I like to play Famous People and Movies). What can sometimes be annoying is that they base their answers on "common knowledge", meaning the previous answers of other people, which sometimes results in me yelling things like "OI! DDL was in a romantic comedy at some point in his career!"
