1. Hope that you had excellent flights back to London and I am so sure that this school year is going to be astoundingly great for both of you.
2. Speaking of astoundingly great, please contact me about this week's MM episode - I am basking in the glow of vindication right now - it was a long time coming but did I call it or what? I loved the whole hour but onwards from DD saying, "Let's go someplace darker," in his sexy man-voice (which is all the pick-up line I'll ever need, granted it's DD saying it) (marry me DD), my heart started tripping over its paces a little, all the way 'til that knock-out ending. The looks! On both their faces, but especially his! I am currently a sloppy pool of melted joy. and guts.
(No, I didn't just turn DMS into the facebook. I swear. Leaving messages on people's "walls" is entirely different from writing a post exclusively directed at certain people, yet here for the world to see... ah, damn it.)

Kelly- I am going to re-watch the last 15 minutes of that episode. It was really, really intense between DD and XX (i'm saying XX 'cause Rachel hasn't watched the episode yet). Ahhhh we need to talk about this episode soon! HM and I are apprehensive about this new direction ... though we knew you'd love the ending.
ReplyDeleteSW and i have been discussing this episode at great length since coming back to London. and we can have a good discussion during our 8 hour reunion in London, Kelly. i knew you would be jumping for joy, and could not help the growing sense of dread i had as i watched the episode, thinking, "damn it Kelly, why do you have to be right about EVERYTHING."

Well actually I'm very sure it's not romantic (...yet? hmm.), and it's sure as hell not sexual because he respects X way too much for that - that phony line about how he lays off his co-workers? oh please. Right now it's at this perfect level of brother-sister-ish camaraderie and understanding which is, now that I think about it, the best thing I could ask for.

Also I must say I don't see why you dislike X, Huimin. I suppose she doesn't have many lovable traits... but she's brave and different and I can understand why she's done everything she's done.
