We saw Black Swan. It was one of the worst movie-going experiences of my life (probably the worst, unless you count wanting to gouge my eyes out during The Holiday from Jude Law's insipidness. Watch Talented Mr Ripley). I cannot believe that at a classy and expensive theater like the Landmark, the front row of seats is 2 meters away from the screen. I cannot effing believe it.
I.
SAW.
NOTHING.
I guess from what little I could make out, it was a good movie. The little parts of the frame I could make out from behind Natalie Portman's giant distorted chin. Now I just have to see it all over again (as if I don't have a million other movies vying for my attention! ugh). I'm so sad right now. So sad. Sorry WP (and Ben).
So sad.
On an equally complainy note - WHO IS HOME RIGHT NOW? I'M COMING HOME TOMORROW TO AN ALMOST EMPTY ISLAND, NO?
(Shu - WP and I checked the SQ movie options for December - not too shabby! I'm gonna watch Eat Pray Love, some British thing called Nativity, and Animal Kingdom. And in January they have The Romantics!)
Kelly! I'm going home tomorrow too!! Like I'll be back home on 11 Dec, 7.30am =) And yes!! I just saw the SQ movies- they're showing Never Let Me Go!!!
