this end of the telescope

some of you may recognize this awesome song from the 90s, One Headlight from The Wallflowers.

Jakob Dylan (blue eyes! his blue eyes!), the lead singer of the Wallflowers is my latest musiccrush, and I bought his solo album, Seeing Things, (which was released in 2008) today. While he does he bear a striking resemblance to his daddy Bob, his voice, in my opinion, has a much more soulful and pleasing quality. The music is soothing, well composed, and the lyrics simple - but that's why they're beautiful. I love how all his songs are just so chilled-out, and he's just doing his own (awesome) thing.

  1. And now I have to admit that One Headlight is one of my favourite songs ever and I've always wanted to sing it in some Karaoke Bar. I think its mild lameness ("Me and Cinderella...") would lend itself very well to Karaoke. But generally I just listen to it on the bus a lot, especially in LA.

And hey huimin you got the album! =) Go Dylan family- I hope Jakob Dylan's son follows the musician path; the music genius can only continue down the decades
