So work hasn't really been work-work so far- for the past couple of days I have been able to sit at my desk for hours and just read every single newspaper, surf the net, read a lot of disgruntled Singaporeans' blogs and other online things. I was doing this usual 'work' routine today and I chanced upon this blog called 'Mr Wang Says So' (mrwangsaysso.blogspot.com) and Mr Wang aka Gilbert Koh, a lawyer, is also a writer (Rachel- is he mentioned in the Creative Arts Programme?). And he wrote this beautiful poem that made me smile to myself in the office (He said that the form of the poem isn't suppose to be like that and "The lines are arranged and spaced in a certain way, to suggest serendipitious wanderings and a sudden fall." Come to think of it, I'm not sure if someone showed this to me before I stumbled upon this blog):
Accident
And I,
gazing at stars,
stumbled over you,
tripped
and
fell painfully in love,
couldn't get up
for ages.
Lovely poem, isn't it?
omg mr wang says so! that's a cute poem.
ReplyDeletei'm not sure if he was mentioned in CAP, but i remember reading his blog every week in JC after stumbling upon it while researching for GP! he was my primary source of little known facts/interesting takes on current affairs
