I Feel Dumb

...for not having heard any of Sarah Blasko's music before this morning. Tell me I'm not the only one...? Anyway I finally watched this video and of course it appealed to me with its Urban-Outfitters-Winter-Catalog aesthetic and the folkloric lilting melody and her breathy crooning. And the horse. There's a horse! Sometimes I wonder at how formulaic my tastes really are.



All I want is for someone to send me this song/album/all her stuff/etc.

Also, irrelevant but tonight I'm going to see Harry Potter 7! Yayz. And tomorrow I FINALLY get to watch Scott Pilgrim vs The World, on a big screen, and it's my JOB. It's like WORK. What a joke, no? And I get to watch it in a pilgrim costume. Hey it's almost Thanksgiving!

    Noooooo arghh I always miss the good shows!
    Also I feel even dumber for being all braggy about seeing Scott Pilgrim because I just came back from the screening and everything went wrong, the movie company never sent us a print, only a dvd, which stopped working halfway, so I had to entertain an irritated crowd while someone found a video player and played it on VHS. VHS!omg. So stressful. AND I couldn't go to Harry Potter at midnight because I was suddenly stricken with a ghastly fever (still have it). Pride before fall, etc. eh?

    Oh noo Kelly =/ I'm sorry that your Scott Pilgrim screening didn't go as planned- and you're not missing much by not watching HP when it FIRST came out at midnight. You'll be watching it as soon as you're better yes? HM and I caught it yesterday but I'll reserve writing any reviews before everyone else (in DMS) watches it first. I STILL haven't seen Scott Pilgrim gahhh maybe they'll show it on the flight home. And yes Thanksgiving is cominggg!
